Founded on principles of accuracy and trust, Lunae Accounting is dedicated to providing personalised, proactive financial services. We believe in forming strong partnerships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and delivering scalable solutions that foster long-term success.

Our Story

After spending over a decade in accountancy, going from small family run accountancy practices to nationwide accounting groups (and even a stop as the in-house accountant at a football league club), our founder Alex Mooney set up Lunae Accounting with the aim of utilising these experiences to build an accounting practice you can trust.

The most common problem Alex found accross his career was the lack of communication, leading to clients not understanding their finances. With most people only hearing from their accountants once a year in tax season or when the accounts are due, we at Lunae Accounting believe giving consistent, clear communication is invaluable. Our goal is to work with our clients, to understand their business, and help them reach their full potential. Taking a proactive approach, we strive to optimise your business to operate as productively and as tax efficiently as possible.

Giving Back to the Community:
Charity Pledge

At Lunae Accounting, we believe in supporting the community and giving back to the people that support us. As such, we promise to donate 5% of every fee earned to a charity of your choice. When signing up with us, once your services and fees have been agreed, let us know which charity you would like us to donate to. After the work has been completed, and the bill has been settled, we will donate 5% of the fees earned to your charity.

Please note: We will only accept charities registered in the UK as your chosen charity. If you do not select a charity, we will donate to a charity of our choosing. The agreed charity will be included in your engagement letter. The donation amount will be deducted from the agreed fees and will not be an additional charge on any agreed fees payable.
